Oh, meltdown. It’s one of those annoying buzzwords. We prefer to call it an unrequested fission surplus.
And what I love the most about new features on Vimeo is that they arrive like unexpected gifts

sketch: vimeo video browser module (via soxiam)
this was a big one in my opinion. not just because of its undeniable and immediate impact on usability but also because this little module is so core to the vimeo user experience in general. this work by casey, along with another big win we scored today with more cross-browser compatible top nav bar patrick worked on, represent true bread-n-butter of quote unquote discovery engine of vimeo. i have high hopes for how these improvements will affect user engagement and retention. and i can’t wait to work on more of these “just make what you already have better” projects. for me, that’s the juice that’s truly worth squeezing.

quick question to apple: have you thought about who would buy an ipod touch for $299 when the new iphone g3 comes out at $199?

it’s amazing how restless i get during blackouts when i find myself not being able to do anything without the electricity. but then i suddenly realized ‘hey, i’ve got a cat. i can scare the living shit out of him by pretending i’m going to cook him for dinner!’
