i’ve had a strange day dream on my way subway ride home this evening. when people request a web page from vimeo, instead of serving html pages, we will serve them a blank page and we will render the page in real-time by collaboratively hand-drawing the each page with tablet pc equipped artists. sometimes the artists would fight over how the page should be drawn so they would erase each others work or make an annotation on the screen that reads “this looks stupid”. the hottest part of all this is we will have to color and underline each links on the page in real-time when the user mouse over them.

did i have too much sugar today? possibly. anyway… i thought of the domain name and everything. www.vimeonpaper.com.
