this is commonly referred to as “reverse lookup” feature and some social/media sites already offer this only for paid account members. fotolog is one and i *think* xanga has something similar. the “pat on the back” engine is a powerful device that many people would pay for - ergo yea… definitely something monetizeable. the only catch is that you can’t offer a feature for free, give an impression that it will remain free, then take that feature away from the free members. that’s how riots get started.
