  1. find a way to explain to users a complicated process and its value proposition in a sentence.
  2. whenever possible take the most future-proof way of sizing an element.
  3. identify the difference between when WHO did what is more important than who did WHAT.
  4. find the right order of activities and page types to bubble up to reinforce the idea of community.
  5. assume some portion of the users will change their mind constantly after performing an action or stop second guessing their intentions?
  6. soon or later, everything is going to start looking like a problem that’s best solved with a tab interface. resist the temptation.
