pile: I ran across Google’s “Enhanced 404” option in my Google Sitemaps account today. I don’t know how long this has been around but it’s news to me. Include a little Javascript and Google will suggest URLs that closely match what it thinks you’re looking for. This is a great idea: people find what they’re looking for and Google can cull it’s own search index without crawling.
